New Review – DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Al Jadaf

For a quick overnight stay in Dubai, I decided to try something new and booked the DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Al Jadaf. With the endless options in Dubai, it can be hard to choose the right hotel, but after reading a few reviews, this one caught my attention. And spoiler alert – it turned out to be the right choice!

📍 Location & Accessibility: Central and Easy to Reach

The location was perfect for my needs: it was just a 15-minute drive from the airport, which is great for Dubai. The price was also very reasonable for what I got. Of course, there are hotels that are closer to downtown or the beaches, but for a quick overnight stay where ease of access and comfort are the priorities, the DoubleTree Al Jadaf was absolutely spot on. 🚖

🛎️ Check-In: Fast and Efficient

The check-in process was exactly as it should be – quick, professional, and straightforward. There was a bit of small talk with the receptionist, but within minutes, I had my room key in hand. A nice touch was receiving a bottle of waterupon check-in, which I really appreciated – especially after a long flight. 💧

Oh if you forgot something or just need a fresh coffee in the morning they also have a small supermarket in the Lobby.

🛏️ Room: Practical and Comfortable

The room was surprisingly pragmatic in its design – nothing fancy, but also nothing missing. It was functional, which is all I needed for a short stay. Upon entering, the bathroom is on the left-hand side. What I appreciated was that the hotel had not cut back on the amenities – things like a shower captoothbrush, and a vanity kit were all provided, which I find quite practical in a hotel room. 🚿

Directly across from the bathroom, there was the bed (in my case, a bit oddly arranged as two separate beds, but no big deal). There was also a wardrobe with a bathrobe, a safe, and a TV right across from the bed. 👍

A particularly nice touch was the water boiler with instant coffee and tea – perfect for a quick caffeine fix. There were also two bottles of water in the room, which is always a win.

The welcome gift of some chocolates and a handwritten card was a lovely personal touch. 🍬💌

Next to the bed by the window, there was a chair with a side table, which looked a bit “crammed” and wasn’t really functional, but for a night’s stay, it wasn’t a big deal. The bed itself was, as always with Hilton, super comfortable, with plenty of pillows. And if you need more, I found extras in the closet the next morning. There were also plenty of power outlets and USB ports, which is a must for tech-savvy travelers like myself. ⚡

🍳 Amenities: Breakfast, Fitness & Pool

Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the ground floor. You simply give your room number, and you can start looking for a free table. When I was there, it was quite busy, but I was seated quickly. The buffet was really diverse – from local dishes to international favorites, there was something for everyone. The food was constantly replenished, so there was always enough. 🥐🥖

And for anyone looking to burn off that hearty breakfast, you’ve got options! You can either head to the fitness room or the small pool on the top floor. The pool isn’t huge, but it’s more than enough for a hotel like this. Plus, there’s a bar by the pool for a refreshing drink afterward. 🌊

The gym is well-equipped if you want to get in a quick workout. 💪

Just in case you realized that you need to do some laundry- this Hotel also offers you this opportunity.

A little interesting detail: Each floor has an extra phone booth room, which I thought was a nice touch for anyone needing a bit of privacy for calls. I’m not sure how often these rooms are used, but it’s a unique offering.

💳 Check-Out: Smooth and Quick

At check-out, it was quite busy, but still very quick. A staff member approached me right away, asked if I was ready to leave, and when I said yes, they took my key and handed me the invoice shortly after. Everything was smooth, and I was able to hop into my waiting Uber without any delays. 🚗

🏨 Conclusion: Perfect for One Night, But Not for a Long Stay

For my short stay, the DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai Al Jadaf was exactly what I needed. The price-performance ratiowas great, and the location was convenient for my short trip. Clean, comfortable, and hassle-free – exactly what you want for a quick overnight stay.

If I were staying longer in Dubai, I might opt for a hotel closer to downtown or the beaches, but for a short-term stay, this hotel is perfect, and I’d happily return for similar trips. 👍
