New Review – The Westin Warsaw (WAW)

Welcome to another hotel review! This time it’s the Westin Warsaw, which I’ve visited several times before. 📅 Booking I booked directly with Westin (yes, via cashback site) to get the regular rate plus Platinum member benefits. Important note: This depends on your travel habits. If you always use Hotels.com without Marriott status, you’ll often get the same price (including cashback and bonus nights), but status perks only come with direct hotel bookings. 📍 Location The location isn’t perfectly central but walkable with good shoes. Honestly, Uber/Bolt is the better choice. We took one…

New Hotel Review – Hilton Warsaw City (Corner Suite)

Introduction For a short weekend trip, I headed to Warsaw. I booked the Hilton directly through Hilton as always to take advantage of points credits and Diamond status benefits. The current promotion offered double points, which was quite attractive. 📍 Location The hotel is located at Grzybowska 63, 00-844 Warsaw, about 15-20 minutes by taxi or Uberfrom Chopin Airport (WAW). Costs range from 22-48 PLN depending on time of day – very affordable. 🛎️ Check-In I arrived shortly after 8 PM. Note: Executive Lounge snacks are only available until 8 PM (more on that later). Check-in was prepared,…

Mileage Run Madness in Poland: 6 Legs, 4 Cities, 12 Hours – and Plenty of Points!

For frequent flyers chasing status—whether Star Alliance Gold or Miles & More Frequent Traveller—it’s not always about long-haul business class flights. Sometimes, a well-planned weekend mileage run with cheap domestic flights can yield crucial qualifying points. The Experiment I tested this with LOT Polish Airlines: 6 domestic flights in one day, each booked separately as one-ways to maximize points and enjoy lounge access between flights. Why Book One-Ways? The Route (All from/to Warsaw – WAW) All flights took place in May with a tight schedule from early morning to evening.…

New Review – Doubletree by Hilton Wroclaw / Breslau

Booking and Location A friend and I each booked one night separately through the Hilton website. Why separately? We both wanted to earn a night credit, and since we both have Hilton Diamond status, booking this way allowed us to maximize our benefits. From Wroclaw’s Copernicus Airport,, we took an Uber and arrived at the hotel in about 25 minutes. The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre Wroclaw is located in a quiet area surrounded by greenery, approximately 15 minutes from the city center. Check In Initially, having two…

New Review – Hampton by Hilton Warsaw Airport (WAW)

Bookingand location At Warsaw Airport there is plenty of choice between Marriott and Hilton. This time we opted for the Hampton by Hilton Warsaw Airport for our short stay. As always, we booked directly with Hilton, even though the benefits at the hotel were only the points and a snack. You can reach the hotel with a shuttle that departs from in front of the Renaissance every 30 minutes. It’s strictly first come, first serve, so we were lucky to get a seat on the shuttle. Unfortunately, it was also…

New Review – Renaissance Warsaw Airport Hotel (WAW)

Location and Booking The booking was made directly with Marriott via the cashback page. In terms of location, the Renaissance Hotel is extremely close to the airport. You only have to go to the departure level and then cross the street. The black complex is really hard to miss and is the first hotel on the left as you drive to the airport. Check In A nice upgrade to a junior suite was already on the cards before check-in. As always, I had booked the cheapest room. During check-in, they…

New Review – Marriott Hotel Warschau (WAW)

Location and booking I booked the hotel via the Rakuten cashback site to get a small discount. From the outside, the hotel looks a little dated. But since I wanted to experience something new, I stayed here for one night. I took a Bolt from Warsaw airport for about 20 minutes at a very fair price. You can find out how I liked it in this review. Check In I arrived shortly before the official check-in time, but my room was already ready, which I was very pleased about. I…
