New Review – Edelweiss Business Class Amenity Kit

Sometimes I really wonder who comes up with the design of amenity kits. Over time I’ve built up quite a collection myself, though not all of them have made it onto the blog yet. But when I first saw the Edelweiss long-haul amenity kit, my immediate thought was: “Either do it properly – or not at all.” See for yourself:

Contents of the Kit

  • Socks
  • Toothbrush with toothpaste
  • Eye mask

My Impression

This kit is reduced to the absolute basics – and unfortunately, it shows. While other airlines even in Economy or Premium Economy often provide a bit more, this set feels very underwhelming for a long-haul flight.

To be fair, one could argue that Edelweiss is focusing on sustainability and avoiding unnecessary extras. However, given the ticket prices and the otherwise excellent onboard service, I would have expected something a little more thoughtful and of higher quality.

Conclusion

As much as I like Edelweiss as an airline, the long-haul amenity kit is disappointing. Minimal content, no real highlights, and overall not at the level one would expect from a leisure airline with a premium touch.

👉 Sustainability matters, no doubt. But in this case, Edelweiss has, in my opinion, cut costs in the wrong place.
