New Review – Plaza Premium Lounge Taipei (TPE)

After visiting the Eva Airways and Singapore SilverKris Business Class lounges, I deliberately checked out the “people’s lounge” Plaza Premium (Priority Pass). For economy passengers, credit card holders, or spontaneous visitors: Is it worth it? Here’s the complete analysis.

📍 Location & Access

Access MethodPrice (on-site)
Priority Pass / LoungeKey~$35-45 USD
Credit Cards (Amex, etc.)Included
Direct booking on-siteVariable

Details:

  • Location: Terminal 2, 4th Floor
  • Hours: 05:00–23:00 daily

Advantage: Extremely flexible – practically anyone can enter! Well or as a disadvantage it can be really full here during peak hours.

🛋️ Facilities & Amenities

Often busy (Priority Pass effect) – I visited twice for photos. And I also took a picture to show who can access the lounge.

Layout: Large, very open space separated from the terminal walkway by a thin wall (you hear everything!). Not particularly quiet.

Seating:

  • Front: High tables for quick bites ☕
  • Back: Comfortable armchairs with power outlets 💻

🍽️ Food & Bar

Highlight: Made-to-Order Noodles – fresh, delicious, the lounge’s best feature! 👏

Rest of Buffet:

  • Standard Priority Pass fare (sandwiches, salads, cakes)
  • Fills you up, but no gourmet experience

Bar: Basic setup (beer, wine, soft drinks) – nothing special.

🎯 Verdict

The Plaza Premium Lounge is worth it for noodle fans! The made-to-order noodles are the absolute highlight and justify the visit alone. The rest is solid Priority Pass standard – open, sometimes loud, but functional.

Recommendation: 4/5 for quick stops when hungry.
